During my recent stay at Hotel Hanaya, I appreciated its convenient location just a few minutes' walk from Tanabe Station, which made accessing the surrounding attractions effortless. The building exudes a vintage charm; While it may appear dated, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms stood out. Our request for adjacent rooms was honored, allowing us to unwind in a peaceful setting-a great touch for a family getaway. The hotel's tranquil environment was complemented by an inviting aroma of incense that greeted us upon arrival. I took full advantage of the spa services, which provided a serene respite after a day of exploring the Kumano Kodo trail. The fitness facilities and vending machine added a practical touch to our stay. Although breakfast did not meet my expectations, the nearby 7/11 offered quick snacks for our adventures. Consider experiencing this serene escape on your next visit to Japan.
